“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.” Charles R. Swindoll

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I’ve always been a fan of the eye. It allows us to see, it allows us to perceive and interpret, and frequently is held in many metaphors for understanding, knowledge, and overall interpretation in the world around us. The way you see things–be it physically, or metaphorically–it changes everything. The right attitude, the right perspective, it can change your life completely. It’s hard. There is no denying that it’s hard. To change the way you see things, to alter the way you live your life and the things you believe in, it’s incredibly difficult. But it also gives you an advantage, in some sense. Because it gives you flexibility, it gives you opportunity, and it gives you a sense of control. Those things are pretty important, every now and again.
With that thought of the day being through, I apologize for the creepy picture. But I kind of like it. Ever seen an eye look like that? Haha.
